Common fault analysis and correct handling of automatic tool change spindle motor and high-speed motor:

1. The spindle is stuck and cannot be rotated.

Cause: 1) The bearing in the spindle is worn, and the debris is clogged, causing the bearing to be stuck; 2) The foreign matter block gap between the front dust ring and the rear dust ring.

Treatment: Check the above parts and remove the residue and try again.

2. The collet cannot be locked, causing the tool to not be tightened or broken.

Cause: The tapered surface of the front end of the rotor is damaged, and the surface of the collet is deformed and damaged.

Treatment: Re-polish the conical surface and the damaged collet cannot be used anymore.

3. The spindle temperature is too high during operation

Cause: Using the spindle for a long time, there is no cooling or the cooling system fails; the bearing is damaged.

Treatment: Do the spindle cooling measures, and use the water cooler and the heat sink to cool the spindle.

4. The spindle is blocked, but the inverter shows power output.

Cause: It may be that the phase voltage is not balanced.

Treatment: Check that the spindle and driveline, driveline and inverter are connected properly.

5. The spindle stops and cannot be started.

Cause: 1) It may be that the spindle stator coil is burnt out or the coil insulation paint is melted.

2) Check the inverter fault information, whether it is the inverter brake.

Treatment: Firstly, use a multimeter to measure whether the resistance between the three pins of the U\V\W of the rear end socket of the spindle is balanced; then check the use environment, whether to filter and regulate the sealing gas by using the filtering and regulating device. Check the inverter parameter settings and adjust the inverter parameters. If not balance the resistance, it can be determined that the stator coil is burnt.
